Important U.S. Shipping & Tariff Information

We Continue to Ship to the United States!

KW Consignment is pleased to continue offering shipping to our customers throughout the United States.

However, recent changes to U.S. tariff, duty, and customs regulations may result in additional import charges on orders entering the United States from Canada.

The United States recently announced a new 50% tariff on selected Canadian goods. These tariffs were scheduled to take effect on August 19, 2026, but have now been temporarily paused for three days while Canada and the United States continue negotiations and work toward finalizing a trade agreement.

This does not mean that every product purchased from KW Consignment is subject to a 50% tariff.

Tariffs and duties can vary considerably depending on the merchandise and how the item is classified when entering the United States.

What U.S. Customers Need to Know

By placing an order for delivery to the United States, the purchaser acknowledges that the shipment may be subject to U.S. import duties, tariffs, taxes, customs charges, brokerage fees, or other import-related costs.

Any applicable U.S. import charges are the responsibility of the purchaser unless they are specifically collected as part of the order at checkout.

Because KW Consignment sells a wide variety of antiques, collectibles, jewelry, handbags, furniture, artwork, décor, and other merchandise from many different countries of origin, the tariff treatment of one item may be very different from another.

KW Consignment does not determine or control the duties or tariffs assessed by U.S. customs authorities and cannot guarantee the exact amount of any import charge before customs assessment.

Before You Purchase

We will continue to accept and ship U.S. orders while monitoring changes to U.S. tariff and customs regulations.

We encourage our U.S. customers to consider the possibility of additional duties, tariffs, and import-related charges before placing an order.
