Antique Appleton’s Tea India & Ceylon Advertising Display

Early advertising piece for Appleton’s Tea, featuring colorful period artwork promoting tea “from India and Ceylon.” The illustrated front depicts tropical palms, architectural scenery, and figures surrounding an Appleton’s Tea chest, with the additional wording “In Lead Packets.” The aged graphics and typography give the piece strong antique advertising and general-store display appeal.

This example appears to be an original paper/cardboard advertising display rather than a modern reproduction. Comparable Appleton’s Tea advertising pieces and tins are associated with the early 20th century, although the exact production date of this example is not marked. eBay
