An antique Canadian-made piano bench by Thomas of Woodstock, Ontario, identified by the original “High Grade – Thomas – Woodstock Ont.” maker’s mark beneath the hinged seat. Thomas was associated with piano and organ manufacturing in Woodstock, and museum examples document Thomas piano benches carrying the same “High Grade” marking.

The bench features a dark-stained wood frame with gently curved legs and a long upholstered seat in dusty rose/red fabric with piped edging. The hinged seat lifts to reveal a full-width interior storage compartment, traditionally used for sheet music and piano accessories. This is an attractive functional piece that could also serve as an entryway bench, bedroom bench, or decorative accent seat.

Shipping Charges

Shipping charges are calculated by adding a handling fee to the carrier charge. The handling fee is determined by the packaging and is as follows:

$10 for bubble mailers, $15 for box packing, $20 for large boxes or fragile items that require extra care and time.
