Ardith Frey 2003 Handmade Country Folk Art Quilted Wall Hanging

A charming handmade folk art quilted wall hanging signed and dated "Ardith Frey 2003," featuring six colorful scenes inspired by traditional country life and rural communities. The detailed patchwork-style design depicts children carrying buckets, a family gathered around a picnic table beneath an apple tree, a country farmhouse, laundry hanging on a clothesline, a barnyard with cows, and a horse-drawn buggy carrying two passengers. The artwork combines muted blue, green, burgundy, and earthy tones with floral and geometric fabric borders, creating a warm, nostalgic country aesthetic.

The wall hanging features decorative stitching throughout, with individual scenes outlined by quilted detailing that adds texture and dimension. The reverse is finished in black fabric with stitched outlines of the six scenes, while a cream-colored fabric label displays the maker's name, date, and two small farmhouse illustrations. A wooden hanging dowel and twisted wire hanger with a heart-shaped top allow for immediate wall display. This distinctive textile artwork is a lovely addition to a farmhouse interior, country kitchen, sewing room, or collection of handcrafted folk art.
