L. Candee & Co. "Ready for the Storm" Vintage Advertising Metal Sign

A charming vintage-style advertising metal sign featuring the classic "Ready for the Storm" illustration for L. Candee & Co. of New Haven, Connecticut. The colorful artwork depicts two children preparing a large Saint Bernard dog for snowy weather, with the Candee Rubbers storefront featured in the background. The nostalgic winter scene captures the character of early American advertising with its detailed illustration and rich colors.

The sign features the prominent L. Candee & Co. name along the bottom, along with the original advertising artwork and the AAA Sign Co. marking from Coitsville, Ohio. Constructed from embossed metal with a raised design visible on the reverse, this decorative piece is ideal for collectors of vintage advertising, Americana, dog-themed memorabilia, and nostalgic wall décor.
